Elementary
FCS elementary students (Kindergarten thru 6th grade) are offered a strong academic program with a fun and exciting learning environment. Our curriculum includes a variety of subjects including a strong phonetic reading curriculum, math, handwriting, Bible, science, social studies, physical education, music, art and other special units. Our goal is to shape the whole child, not just academically, but in every area of their lives by challenging them to be all God has created them to be.

High School
Many opportunities are offered to high school students seeking academic excellence. Honors courses offered: English, NC and World History, Algebra I, II, Government and Economics, Grammar / Latin, Chemistry, Physical Science and Geometry. Advanced Placement courses offered: Biology, Junior and Senior High level Composition, and Calculus. Bible courses are also an integral part of each student’s schedule. To enhance a student’s overall experience, community service is a requirement for students at FCS. Our commitment to small classes provides the best environment for learning and growth. Our mission is to prepare students not only for college, but for life through a Christian world view.

Board
The Board of Directors is to represent the parents, students, faculty, staff and administration of Faith Christian School in determining and demanding appropriate organizational performance. The board shall govern with an emphasis on: biblically based integrity and truthfulness in all methods and practices, outward vision rather than internal preoccupation, strategic leadership more than administrative roles, collective rather than individual decisions, future rather then past or present and proactivity rather than reactivity.

The board of directors will direct, control and inspire the organization through the careful establishment of broad written policies reflecting the board of directors’ values and perspectives about goals to be achieved and means to be avoided. The board of directors ‘ major policy focus will be on intended long term impacts outside the organization, not on the administrative or programmatic means of attaining those effects. Outreach mechanisms will be used as needed to ensure the board of directors’ ability to listen to parent viewpoints and values.

We believe that Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and conduct. We believe that deriving practical applications from and modeling God’s Word are essential to completing our mission consistent with biblical truth. In light of this, the board adheres to God’s command in Matthew 18 for resolving conflict. Anyone may request an audience with the board in writing  if the individual has sought to resolve the conflict at the direct level. It is the desire of the board of directors of Faith Christian School to honor God in all words, all deeds and all service.
